If you arrive in Norway before 1 November, we strongly recommend that you get tested for Covid-19 at the airport upon arrival in Norway. While you wait for the result, we ask you to isolate yourself from other people.

If you arrive from a “red” country after 31 October, you cannot start work until the quarantine period of 10 days has been completed.

The following measures will take effect at midnight, the night before Wednesday 28 October:

  • In private homes, gardens or cottages, one should not have more than 5 guests in addition to household members.
  • We recommend spending time in social settings with as few people as possible. In Oslo the number should not be more than 10 persons per week. (Do not count in the people you share house with.)
  • You must use a face mask for all public transport to / from / in the Oslo region.
  • You must use a face mask indoors in public places (shops, malls) where it is not possible to maintain at least 1 meter distance.
  • You must use a face mask indoors as guest at restaurants in all situations where you do not sit at a table.

If you test positive on a Covid-19 test, you MUST inform HIRE office immediately. Failing to do so will be a serious mistake.

•  NORSK • Hvis du er permittert er det viktig at du kontakter NAV, så raskt som mulig.
På grunn av sterk pågang hos NAV er det viktig at du ikke ringer eller møter opp på NAV kontoret,
men at du går inn på www.nav.no, velger riktig språk i menyen øverst og laster opp dokumentene de ber om.
Dersom du av ulike årsaker ikke får logget deg inn på NAV, må du sende papirene pr. post.
Det er godt beskrevet på sidene til NAV hva de krever at du sender inn.

ENGLISH: Everyone at HIRE must contribute to keeping the wheels rolling during the strange months ahead of us. It is very important for both HIRE and our customers that everyone who works for us, also in their spare time, think about infection control. Avoid parties and crowds (even during Easter and Summer holiday). It would be very regrettable if the thoughtlessness of one of us in HIRE causes many colleagues in his project to be sent home into corona quarantine. It may be inevitable that some of us will be infected in the next few months, but it is everyone’s responsibility to work hard to avoid becoming infected / infecting others until a vaccine is available sometime next year.

NORSK: Alle på HIRE må bidra til at hjulene ruller i løpet av disse rare månedene foran oss. Det er veldig viktig for både HIRE og våre kunder at alle som jobber for oss, også på fritiden, tenker på smittevern. Unngå fester og folkemengder (selv i påskeferien og sommerferien). Det vil være veldig beklagelig hvis tankeløsheten til en av oss i HIRE fører til at mange kolleger i prosjektet hans blir sendt hjem til korona-karantene. Det er kanskje uunngåelig at flere av oss de nærmeste månedene blir smittet, men det er alle vårt ansvar å jobbe hardt for å unngå å bli smittet/smitte andre frem til en vaksine foreligger en gang i løpet av neste år.

Oczywiscie pewne sytuacje sa nieuniknione i moze sie zdarzyc, że niektórzy z nas zostaną zarażeni w ciągu najbliższych kilku miesięcy, ale obowiązkiem każdego jest rozwazne zachowanie i proba unikniecia zarażenia / zarażenia innych. Wszyscy musimy zachowac szczegolna ostroznosc, bynajmniej dopóki w przyszlym roku nie będzie dostępna szczepionka.
